My July 3, 2010 Book-Signing
at the Final Reunion of PT Boats, Inc., in Warwick, Rhode Island
On Saturday, July 3, 2010, I did a book signing at the final Reunion of PT Boats, Inc., the official national veterans association for men who served on USN PT boats, their bases and tenders in World War II.
I had a very nice time there. I saw many friends who I had met in the past and it was also a distinct honor to meet several of the veterans.
To my surprise and “delight”, all of the copies on hand of my new PT book and of my first PT book, the book which started it all were sold out even before I arrived there.
Here are some photos of that day.

T. Garth Connelly (in blue shirt) at the book signing talking to historian (and all-around nice guy) Chip Marshall. Two of Mr. Connelly's models of PT boats are on the table in front of him. (Tom Connelly photo)

The woman on Mr. Connelly's is about to purchase Mr. Connelly's brother's own copy of his newest book ... the only copy available that day. Her late father served on PT-155 in Squadron 9 in the Solomons. (Tom Connelly photo)
