Greg Mathews, the son of radioman John Mathews and Paul Bacon, son of Dick Bacon, submitted the following photo collection from the service their fathers drew in the Pacifc. Paul provided the photo of his father and Al Szezech, killed while serving on the 221 boat in the Philippines. John Mathews submitted the other 17 photos.
It's personal, family collections such as this that make the war on the Pacific and the PT Boat war so very special today. Thanks guys!
